You’ll find Bourbon Street in the heart of Downtown Fullerton amongst many of it local haunts and watering holes. Inside you’ll find red brick walls, flat screen TVs, and dark moody lighting that’s perfect for any occasion – a casual date, watching a game with the buddies, a drink at the bar, or just lunch with friends.
On the menu, you’ll find a concept that blends California cuisine with Cajun influences and a bit of southern flair. You might not be down home or sitting pretty by the swamp, but you can pretend to be especially with menu items like Shrimp & Grits (white hominy cheddar grits with buttered Cajun shrimp, tomatillo pico de gallo and fresh cilantro). This was one of my personal favorites as well as the traditional Bacon Mac & Cheese served with hearty slices of garlic bread. The rest of the menu is a mix so if you’re not feeling the Southern draw, you can call upon your own palate and make some choices that suit you.
With the NFL season kicking off this week, Bourbon Street is also the perfect place to watch the big game, cheer for your fantasy teams, wage some bets over a few beers, and maybe make some new friends. If you’re looking for something to munch on during the game, I recommend the Nachos (homemade chips or fries covered with melted cheese, green onions, tomatoes and applewood bacon crumbles). Not into nachos or looking for other menu options, check out the slideshow below.
